Visit your local botanic gardens, zoo, wildlife park, shopping centre or tourist information centre (or anywhere there is a map of the relevant area on display).
Ask your child to look at the map and share what they notice.
Discuss the ‘you are here’ label and ask them what they can see around them and how this is represented on the map.
