Which string is longer?

Cut two different lengths of string, wool or ribbon.

Lay them next to each other on a flat surface, making sure they are not completely straight.

Ask your child to observe the pieces and describe what they notice about each.

They then predict which one is the longest. Hold the pieces of string together so your child can check their prediction.

Repeat with different lengths of string and arrangements.
