The floor is lava!
OUTSIDE
To play the game, you will need an open area hard surface that you can mark with chalk, and two sheets of newspaper (or similar) per player.
On your surface, mark the start and end zones opposite each other – it is up to you how far apart these are.
Next, draw different shapes between the safe zones. These are ‘out of bounds’.
Between the safe zones, the floor is lava, and you cannot walk on it.
Your pieces of newspaper are lava-proof and will help you get from one safe zone to the other.
The aim is to get from one side to the other, standing on one sheet whilst placing the other down to move.
Your newspaper cannot touch any of the ‘out of bounds’ areas as you move through the course.
The first player to get to the other safe zone wins!
