Pairs

Use the number cards from a pack of cards and arrange them in eight rows of five.

Take turns turning over a card, and then a second card to try to find its pair.

If you get a match, you keep the cards.

If they are not a match, turn over face down again, and the other person has a turn.

As you play, ask your child what they notice about the pattern of shapes on the cards.
