Make a cubby

Ask your child to create a cubby house using different pieces of household furniture (e.g. chairs, coffee table, cushions, etc.) and a blanket or bed sheet as a ‘roof’.

Ask your child to describe the different parts of the structure (e.g. where is the front door, back door, which side is the window on, and any other features they include in their structure).
