Longer or shorter?

Ask your child to select a household object as their unit of measurement.

For example, they might choose a feather duster.

Ask your child to find three objects in the house: one that is shorter than one feather duster, one that is longer than one feather duster and one that is about the same length.

Repeat this process with a different unit of length; for example, a dustpan brush.
