Go Fish!
INSIDE
This game requires a standard deck of cards with the picture cards removed (except aces).
Each player gets seven cards, and the remaining deck is placed face-down in the middle of the group.
The aim of the game is to make as many sets of four cards of the same number, before the deck runs out.
Your child might have two fours already in their hand, so they only need two more to make their first set.
They might ask you, ‘Do you have a four?’ If you do, you need to hand it over to them. If you don’t, you say, ‘Go fish,’ and that player needs to pick up a card from the central pile.
As you make your sets of four, you can place them down in front of you.
The winner is the first person to get rid of all their cards.
As a variation, you could make the sets be a run of four sequential numbers, such as 1, 2, 3, 4; or 7, 8, 9, 10.
