Fruit bowl graph
INSIDE
Ask your child to draw the types of fruit and vegetables you typically eat in your house and how many of each variety you have.
For example, you might have 6 apples and 4 bananas in your fruit bowl and 3 carrots and a cucumber in your fridge.
Once they have drawn them, they can cut them out and line them up (see images below of apples, eggplant and corn) so they can compare the different types of fruits and vegetables and their quantities.
Ask your child questions such as:
- Do we have more apples or bananas? How many more?
- What do we have most of?
- Least of?
