Comparing spoons

INSIDE

Collect some objects of different lengths (e.g. teaspoon, tablespoon, butter knife, etc.) that can be used as units of measurement.

Ask your child to predict the distance between different objects in your house based on each type of measuring object.

For example, the distance between the fridge and the kitchen bench is about 12 tablespoons or 18 teaspoons.

Measure the distances with the different objects and ask your child to explain the results.
