Ask your child to arrange their toys in different ways.

The first could be ordering their toys from tallest to shortest.

Next, they could order the same group of toys from lightest to heaviest.

Asking questions such as ‘Is tallest always heaviest?’ helps children think about the different attributes and properties of objects as they arrange their toys.
